In this movie, I play Patrick, the oldest son of Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson's characters.
It was shot in Philadelphia, where we lived in a one bedroom apartment. I love traveling and seeing other parts of the country and meeting different people. While in Pennsylvania, we went to Hershey Park (awesome - in my top 10 American theme parks), saw historic sites in Philadelphia like the Liberty Bell (cool) and went to the boardwalk at Ocean City, NJ, which was very fun. I live on the West Coast, and the beaches in Washington State are very different from the Atlantic Ocean. The rides at Ocean City, the awesome shops and eating places, plus the beach were so fun!
My scenes were with Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson. Owen was such a great guy. He was funny and very nice. We had fun playing soccer. Jennifer was very nice, too. Very normal, and a very regular-type person. Another fun thing was I got to meet the writer of the book and the 'real' Patrick, his son- who was like 23 or something.
We played in the snow in one scene. That was cool. The movie was shot in the spring, so there wasn't any real snow, so they created all this fake snow. They covered the whole yard with a big white tarp. It was cool to see how they do stuff like this.
The best part about shooting this movie was playing ball with Owen and Jennifer. One day I kicked her in the head with a soccer ball by mistake. My mom thought I would never work in Hollywood again! But fortunately she wasn't hurt and she forgave me?This movie is about a family and their dog, Marley. Working with animals is definitely not as easy as it seems. They do not always listen to the director. One day they brought all the dogs who played Marley together, which was weird for them because I think each dog thought they were the "star" of the movie!
I guess I can understand that though. My family has two dogs (a black lab and an Australian Blue Heeler) a cat, and two rabbits, and they definitely play a starring role in our house.
