I can answer your first question, earlier in the movie Billy(Nathan) asked his father not to let the monsters get him no matter what, since they ran out of gas and assumed that it would just be a matter of time before the beasties came for them they decided it would better to die quick. -

Finally got around to watching House and as usual you were awesome, I was kinda disappointed you didn't cry though, you're the only actor ever that can consistently make me cry every time you do! I haven't decided yet if that's because you remind me of my little cousin or because you're so good at it, I suspect it might be both though. -

Hi Nathan!!! Very cool website! We miss you all and think of you often. We are loving the warm Texas weather,but missing our old friends. Congrats on all the fun stuff you are doing. Hi from Middle-Europe Nathan! Since I saw you in The Mist (and later in the Babel) you became my favourite child actor (in a supporting role). You were awesome in TDK as well.
